Rear Stop
Discourages head raising that leads to rearing
RearStop
Rearing is arguably the most dangerous of horse vices, not only can the horse dislodge the rider but can also lose balance itself and potentially fall on the rider. We strongly recommends that such horses only be re-trained by professional, competent horse people and the RearStop is a device that can be used to assist in that re-training. Fixing to the bit, the RearStop discourages the horse raising its head to such a degree that it tries to lift its forelegs to complete the rear.

The RearStop can also be used as a device to prevent very strong horses snatching at the bit or throwing their heads about preventing the rider from establishing a consistent contact.
